Continuing his hot streak in the live and online poker tournament world, Team PokerStars pro Jason Mercier outlasted a massive field in the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) Event #42, $1,000 buy-in NLHE, to claim the title and its $435,000 payout. Brown’s attempt to win the title ended with his ninth place finish. Although his massive chip lead had vanished by the time the final seven were in action, Mercier persisted to take the battle to his opponents.
